A Society In Crisis: A Family In Divide

Synopsis

  • FILMED BY STUDENTS and Seasoned filmmakers :
  • A documentary about how our society is in crisis focusing on current events and an emphasis on how children are traumatized. Sharing the stories of others and how it affected their families and their children. Taking a glimpse of the families becoming separated by the system. Testimonies and Data. Taking a look into the Family Court system breakdown and how cities differ. Looking at the issues police , schools and community face with family issues. The ripple effects of traumatized children having adverse childhood experiences with divorce and court abuse. We will interview those creating change in the system. We will take a deeper look into the community and discover what is Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and why does society have the mindset that the destruction of families is the normal? We will take a deep look at what attorneys and/or parents are creating that aid in the ACEs. Interviews with therapists, community leaders and more. What can we all do to break the cycle and create the change to build stronger brains for children and to be part of the solution to solve the crisis? We will interview doctors and experts in mental illness and understand why it is important for children to have both parents and the system abuse and the “war of the roses” to end and stat creating bonds to help children and families thrive.
