Through personal experiences and observations, I have chosen a path of healing and empowerment, with the goal of inspiring others to create positive change in the face of diverse forms of abuse, including elderly abuse and systemic exploitation involving law enforcement, healthcare, and the media. To achieve this, it is essential to form alliances with other organizations that support mental health initiatives and programs providing education, resources, and awareness to break cycles of abuse and foster healing within families.
This is why our foundation, MVP3 Foundation has chosen to seek the support and help of global impact leaders and organizations such as TUFF.earth.
Our goal is to heal the communities through the arts and empower our society. We share voices and tell stories through film, music, and various creative arts, believing that transforming a broken heart into art is essential to being part of curing the effects trauma.
Our “FINDING YOUR YES with Mind, Body and Soul” campaign and programs empower lives by actively promoting mental health awareness, dispelling stigmas, and encouraging open conversations to seek help as a catalyst for transformative change, ultimately enhancing mental health outcomes for everyone.
Our mission of our foundation also supports individuals affected by domestic violence, abuse, and homelessness, helping them protect their children and support loved ones amidst financial and emotional challenges. We provide resources and solutions for those facing devastating situations and aim to raise awareness about domestic violence, trauma, and adverse childhood experiences (ACEs).
We have several programs that provide education, awareness and resources that promote healthy eating, living and financial literacy. We partner and give back to other organizations who align with our healthcare initiatives.
Our mission is to create change through media platforms, highlighting the importance of using our voices and all forms of media as a powerful tool for positive change, while embodying integrity.
Our student programs help students develop skills and gain experience to pursue careers in the creative arts.
We believe creativity creates genius.
We believe film, music, and creativity offer a transformative pathway for healing and education, empowering our community.

Unfortunately, I witnessed my friend John Amos and his son K.C. Amos being victims of abuse that is often overlooked, yet happens in plain sight. This issue affects not just celebrities, but is a common story of a cycle that needs healing within our society, as well as in how we use the legal system, resources, police, and media, and social media platforms which can most times create a narrative that condones and aides in abuse.
John Amos and his son recognized the potential impact of this mission on our youth and communities, and how it could help families heal. They came to Memphis to assist in building our programs and producing projects that aligned with our mission of change, providing our youth with a pathway to careers in the creative arts.
Unfortunately, several factors, along with others, created an obstacle that challenged our mission and also affected John Amos and his son.
Through the media, we see many stories that demonstrate the harm caused to lives, a pattern also observed in many celebrities and our own lives.
We recently hosted the Men of Excellence Awards, where the first John Amos Student Grant was awarded to a student demonstrating media integrity. This served to honor my friend, John Amos, and foster the spirit of the bond between fathers and sons to positively impact our society by highlighting men and their sons who seek to be role models through their work and journey.
While empowering ourselves and overcoming obstacles, trauma, and disadvantages, it's essential for women to recognize the different meanings of empowerment and to inspire our men by sharing our feelings and advocating for equality. Nevertheless, there's no bravery in destroying others; empowerment lies in rising to the occasion to be part of the solution for change.
Through my books and brand, I share my own story and experiences to inspire empowerment. Now, with my workbook, "12 Steps to Finding Your Yes", I offer simple reminders to help you find your personal power. My "yes" may not be your "yes", but it may help you remember that you hold the power and ability to rise up back up each day to find your "yes" on this journey called life.
We are all born into this world barefoot and we all stumble and fall, but each of us has the power to rise up daily and find our yes.
That's why I say, from barefoot to stilettos, it's not easy, but there's a way to find your yes. Finding your yes begins with achieving balance within your mind, body, and soul. Since your mind is essential, what you feed it, along with your body and soul, is crucial to your overall life source and well-being. May you all find your yes and what works for you to find your balance as you take the steps through this journey called life.
We believe education is the key to a brighter future. That's why we offer scholarships, after-school programs, and other educational initiatives to help children succeed.
We're working to create impact to reduce trauma, especially for children of divorce. We aim to spearhead more legislation, education and awareness for Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs).
We're committed to protecting our planet for future generations. From clean energy initiatives to sustainable agriculture, we're working to create a healthier, more sustainable world. Please see our Three Beans Farmers Market page.
We believe in the power of community. That's why we're working to develop and strengthen communities through the arts. We aim to help bring programs and events that will help bring community and police together in peace.
Join us in making a difference. Whether you want to donate, volunteer, or simply learn more, there are many ways to get involved and support our work.
